On day 52 of this White Widow Auto. Any recommendations on how to fatten up these buds? This auto was supposed to be done in 62 days but I am thinking it will take several more weeks as the buds are small. Currently using just big bloom.

The question was how to fatten up the buds. Not when he should flush and harvest. The products “dry kool bloom” or “beastie budz” by fox farms are similar that the are about 0-50-30 they are intended to be used in late flower to shock the plants into swelling and trichomes development. Disclaimer! Do not do what I do.... I use them at 1/4 tea spoon for 4 gallons of water starting week 3 of flower. Mind you I am hydroponic. I maintain and go to a half tsp on week 5. Week 6 hours I use a full table spoon for 4 gallons and run that until I flush. Everything I read says NOT to do it but I got my info from an old timer and tried it with good results. Have a look and my stardawg and dark devil diaries. Again I can not recommend that’s what you do. I’m just sharing my information with you.

@KanEbusKev I just read your latest update and your plan of a final week of growth after a good flush sounds like a good plan just don't leave the soil too moist before you leave as you don't want to return to any mold problems

Check out the trichromes is the only real way to know for sure when your buds are ready as you want them harvested. Keep in mind you'll need to allow for a flush period of which your bud development will continue during that window. It's normal for your autos to go over 12 weeks if you had any hiccups along the way.

A natural and safe way to help beef up the buds is blackstrap molasses. It is safe to use through flushing since it is not actually feeding the plant but it is feeding the soil. Also, the sugars help sweeten the taste. I tested this out on a few clones I had in my last grow and I am doing it with all my plants this time around. Good luck on the remainder of your grow. If you are unsure, read a few articles from the following link: https://www.growweedeasy.com/search-results?keyword=molasses

Hi @KanEbusKev! Autoflowers being late is a common thing, especially if it's your 1st run, since autos are sensitive to almost everything, a slight stress could affect its growth and delay the harvest by a few days. Don't worry and don't rush it, you want fully mature buds with red/orange pistils and milky trichomes. You're on the right track but from what I see on your last pictures, they will need 2-3 more weeks to fully fatten up and reveal their potential. I would recommend ~10 more days with the PK booster of your choice, then a good flush for a week or more. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

You can add PK-booster like Big Bud from advanced nutrients to add bud mass. It's product made for that purpose. Only way to determine when to harvest for max potency is done by checking trichomes.

They are looking great! Most breeders advertise super fast auto's, but in reality they normally take a it longer, especially if you get a longer running pheno. Your plant looks good so far and let her ride it out! !! 👊 Not sure if you are planning a flush, but I wouldn't rush it and wind up not feeding properly at the end. Good luck!
