Is it too early to top the plant below the top nodes? Trying to not get ahead of myself or be too hasty since this is my first grow. Would it be worth it at this point or would it be better to get some more growth in?

Well I would't top that place, as it has been topped already. Maybe further top the new branches. My advice is you should consider a transplant in a larger container, depending on your grow room size, remove the lower 2 branches, wait a week and then top the new shoots. And don't forget fertilizing after an invasive action like topping or HST.

Bottom leaves yellowish - why? And can I top?On both of my plants (C99 & S.A.D.) the bottom leaves are turning yellowish and I can't figure out why. Topping techinque: 4 main colas I'm approaching topping for the first time. The aim is to get 4 main colas, without FIM. The intention is to cut at the 3rd node (cut C) in order to develop the branches of nodes 2 and 3 as main ones. Does this make sense? Has anyone already had any experience with this?
