Plants turn herme after defoliation? It’s a sad day in the grow room today I have 2 Hermès that grew a couple seeds on each one and then I have 1 plant that just went crazy with seeds all over

Yes, heavy defoliation causes a huge metabolic shock to your plants, freaking them out and making them "think" that they are going to die, leading to their survival instinct kicking in - hermaphroditism.

Only do a flowering defoliation in week 2 or 3. Never do it any later unless your getting the plant ready for harvest. I do my last defoliation in 2 week 2 or 3 of flowering, I've never had any problems and get good benefits from indoor plants. Anything past that time frame is just to much stress on the plants. I'm really sorry that happened to you.

Can I leave my plant growing in this 90 degree angle after accidentally snapping her stem?Can I leave my plant growing like this? I can either set her back up completely or leave it at a about 90 degree angle if that doesn’t kill her off! Would give the rest more light. I accidentally snapped her but not completely. Coco and Worm Castings - Does Total Dissolved Solids Matter?Does total disolved solids (TDS) matter when growing in coco, worm castings, and organic dry ammendments? Am I at risk of a build up of salts? I have seen 2700 ppm in my current grow, but are these simply not salts and therefore OK? Plants look good happy. TY

Ready for transplant? First time transplanting.Started my second ever grow and plants are 3 weeks since planted. I have never transplanted before, last run i put the peat pods directly into 5 gallon pots. Are these ones ready for transplant?
