I know this might sound dumb but how do I probably check my pH levels. I’ve been checking it and it comes to 6.5 but I keep having problems like yellowing leaves and burning leaves and everyone keeps saying it’s a pH problem.

Not dumb at all. Ive had some grows go perfectly without ph'ing a thing...then I've had the opposite, leaves discoloring all over the place unexplainable, generally an unhappy plant that i couldn't find the problem, until i double checked my ph pen only to find id be watering with like 8-9 ph which is way too high.
If you don't have it already, get a ph pen, a bottle of ph up and ph down(or powders), and some extra calibration powder or liquids and see if you get any difference on the #s.

Hello Soflo! Did you try to check che accuracy of your pH meter? Just buy some bottled water with pH similar to 6.5 (pH should be reported on the label) and verify that the instrument you are using is accurate. I hope it helps. Good luck

Clones: trim the leaves horizontal or no?When you cut a potential clone from the mother. I usually try to have at least 3 nodes, but when the nodes are alternating (why do they alternate sometimes?) VS two leaves stemming on each side of the main stem in a symmetrical style?
