CMH and LED combo. Worth the extra electricity cost? I just added this 400 watt CMH tube setup for extra light penetration. Comments are appreciated.

I use 2 TS1000 and a Growers Choice Master Pursuit 500watt CMH. It will definitely cost you more in electricity, but I noticed a huge difference on my plants ws soon as I started both together. To take advantage of the combination, growing a few larger high yielding plants and doing a scrog is best. The CMH has to hang higher so it will cause stretch but the stems will be extra strong, as the plants get closer to the LEDS, they will stop stretching and start making tighter nodes. If you can get your canopy evenly distributed 3 feet below your CMH and LEDS, you'll get a killer yields. I've seen it and made the switch. I'm about to stop my perpetual grow and go to a scrog technique for yield

Cmd will make your bud tighter and heavier, just don't over light your plants. Good idea to have a par meter if your going to add the cmd to your room along side led. But results will be much better. Cheers

Cannot really tell by the pics, but doesn’t look needed from here. I never use anything but LED myself..
