LED's wont shut completely off

Lights seem to go on a "standby mode" instead of being all the way shut when timers switch them off. Should I buy some other timers? These were brand new, cheap ones though and both the same. Lights are HLG 600 RSPEC and both did this.

Hi @Weezy90 !
If I plugged the lights completely, they actually shut off completely, immediately. Probably the extension cord leaked a little bit of power even the timer was on off-mode.
I solved this problem by setting a timer before the extension cord, and I switched to a better timer.
Anyway it wasn't about power consumption. The problem was that there was any light at all at night time, which is a big no no for the plants, from what I've learned.

Dit is normaal, ik had het ook.
Dit komt door de reststroom die overblijft na het uitschakelen.
Deze is nog steeds voldoende, gezien het lage vermogen dat vereist is om een ledlamp te doen branden.
Je lampen koelen rustig af nadat de timer uitgaat en gaan dan normaal na een tijdje volledig uit.🙂
Bij mij was dit toch zo.
Het kan ook zijn dat ze zo zachtjes blijven branden, dit verbruik is echter zeer minimaal.
Het komt wel vaker voor bij goedkopere lampen.

what ppfd for 20/4 autoflower?Just bought the FC-4800 and before this I had always measured my light using inches away from canopy however I want to learn how to use the light using PPFD. I have found average measurements online but what should I aim for for a 20/4 autoflower schedule please?

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Lights airstone c02What light to plant distance would you set it at? The only test I've done is at 25 inches its stable at 80°f and 75% humidity. When I lower it to 18 inches, the tent read 85°f and 73 humidity.
Other question I have is what's your favorite air stone(disk)?
