When the pistils of the plant begin to take on a dark brown color and the trichomes take on a darker amber color as well.

Wait until your plant has 95-98% brown pistils/hairs, this will give you flowers with prime cannabinoids and peak THC. This is far simpler and more reliable than the trichome colour method, which has many flaws. If you are waiting for seed maturation, the seeds will be visible in the drying calyxes once mature and ready for harvest, as indicated by the brown/blackish colour of the mature seeds showing through the open/burst and swollen calyx.
