Methods to avoid stunted seedlingsDoes anyone have any favored methods to avoid stunted seedlings? It hasn't happened to all of my seedlings, but at least three crops have had this issue. I already use Coast of Maine seed starter, usually in small solo cups, before switching to the main soil.

Sprouting delay. How long do I wait? Are lights on and fans running important while waiting for germinated seeds to sprout? I lightly water the medium.Germinated autos by paper towel method, & put them in soil 2 days ago. The still haven't sprouted out of the soil. How long should I wait? Seedlings died, does anyone know why??Hello does anyone know why my seedling died. It looks dried up and dead. I germinated in a paper towel until 1/2 of root came out then planted in 65%FFHF 20% perilite and 15%wormcastings. I misted the top once a day when it appeared dry. Had in 3gal pots w/ a LED450W 28in away :(
