Running at 80% during veg will put less wear and tear on the LED's so in theory they will last longer. I find it easier to keep my lights at 100% and adjust the height of the light accordingly. As @BeautifulCraftRreddit said. When she is vegging there is no need to run at 100%. But when you start to flower you want to give her as much light as possible to get nice fat dense buds. I will usually keep my light as close as possible once she has finished her stretch. You can tell when your getting to close with the light by keeping an eye on new growth, Her leaves will start to twist and bend. Also older growth you will see the serrated edges curling upwards. This is an indication to raise your light by 2-3cm(1"). Happy Growing

I would have it at 18 - 20 inches above on full power . I have this light it's great. go for it my grows have been fine x good luck growmie x
