Lighting for seedling/veg tent.

I have room to build a 3x3x4 to 5’ grow room in my basement for vegging plants for my main tent. What size led light should i used for a room this size that will be used strictly for seedling/veg stage? Walls and roof will be lined with reflective mylar film. 2 plants at a time

100 watts will work great in there for veg. I’d definitely make it as tall as possible. Can’t ever have to much room vertically. Good luck with your new setup and happy growing!!!

I could so floor to ceiling i was just going to raise it a foot or two since its in the corner of my laundry room beside the washer and dont want to have to bend over all the time back there lol. But i could always put a table and lower them as they get taller

You could get four 1-2 gallon pots in there easily and veg for around 4-6 weeks or until the plant is about 2 feet out of the pot. Then transplant into 3-5 gallon and flower. Or veg autos directly in 3-5 gallon pots and you could still get 4 in there. Be nice!! 👍

Too hot to trot?Question; I’ve got 3 separate lights, but only running one at this moment . I tried all three just before and noticed a increase of smell from my plant.. Good sign bad sign? Noticed this in even the early stages in the vegetive state, but more concerned flowerin. Cheers community

Can I switch my lighting schedule ?Hello everyone. 1st grow here. I'd like to swap my lighting (automatic plants) from [4am:midnight] to [4pm:noon] just to keep the temperature a little higher at night. Distance from bulb or from reflector?I found content about the distance from grow lights to the plants. I Know that using a 250w MH bulb the distance should be in a range from 20cm to 30cm. But i dont know If I should measure the distance from the glass of the reflector or from the bulb itself to the plants. Help!

Light distance for Seedlings My question is my 2 seeds have popped out and I am using 3- 8.5 watt 5000K LED lights to light them up. Both plants are under humidity domes so how far should I put the lights above them? I have them in a make shift grow tent for now as my regular tent is finishing up a grow.

Light strength 2 of my autos have been harvested and now I just have 1 mature plant mid flower and I've started my 3 other seedlings. I've got a tsw 2000 w/310 wts. Should I keep my lights at 100% for maximum growth or should I back off a touch to say 75 or 80%?
