How do you pack on crystal near the end of flowering? Always looking for some extra strength!

Keep RH around 40-50%. UV exposure during flower can increase trichome production. If you have UV in your lights, you don't want it on during vege phase or even early bloom, i bet. It's a stress that causes the growth of trichomes. It will adapt to UV and be resistant to it, if you expose from start (like field crops do -- this is why initial studies showed it did not help.. they were testing plants out in a field and exposed to sun from sprout, which have developed resistance to UV.) Certain stresses can cause it to occur. heat, low rh%, UV rays etc etc... but becareful not to piss off plant and grow nanners in your quest to augment trichome production. I'd becareful with heat. The RH suggestion is safe.. uv should be safe, for the plant (do use precaution for yourself, as UV will cause skin cancer.) in the end, any technique you use is always relative to genetics. Can't put lipstick on a pig... well, i guess you could, but it's still a pig. Not a reference to your plants, but explaining concept.

There have been many theories on how to increase crystals, But not a lot of science to back them up. The best way is buy good genetics and keep your plant as happy as possible. One that has been proven to work is to add in a bit of UVA or UVB light. Only a couple hours during lights on as to much will break down THC, The best thing you can do is harvest at the correct time. you look at the crystals through a jewelers loupe or microscope to see the color ( clear = low, cloudy = high, amber = med and breaking down) If no then go with when 90% of the white hairs are red. General things people do are -Lower the temperature ( tricks plant into thinking its winter) -Decrease humidity levels ( making your plants feel a bit thirsty and stressed ) -Stem Splitting (stresses plant out ) https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-splitting-stems-should-you-take-a-knife-to-your-cannabis-plant-n1207 These “flushing” methods may (or may not) increase THC: -keep plant in the dark for 1-3 days before harvest( I like to go 24h) -harvest cannabis during the plant’s dark period preferably right before lights on. -water plants with ice water before harvest( simulates winter is coming )

I also wanna add when you go to harvest leave the plant in 48hrs of darkness. That's said to also increase the trichomes because you will be recovering what's naturally lost during the day period

Gonna sound weird but I would lower your light, I've noticed my plants( I don't have a diary on the majority of my 4*4 yet) my blueberry auto and purple haze auto that are literally 1in-7in under my ts600 are frosty as hell. I would obviously watch for signs of stress but it being an 100w light you should be alright to lower more than what you have it at
