I would lst those branches then see if she needs any defoliating from there. I feel like you will lose weight in the long run if you don't lst

I would pull the side branches out a little with some Lst and not defoliate yet.

Hey! Why make defoliation to such a baby? Defoliation is usually used for large bushes or with certain training. This plant needs water and light! Good luck to you)
