Hello @beer420 ! You can top autos. If you are going to top them you need to do it after the fourth node, not later or sooner. For your question if its worth my answer is not, at least for me. I have constantly better results with other kinds of HST and LST training. Happy growing ! 👊

You can top them but it has to be done early on as they flower fast haha . With that being said you wanna make sure you do it early enough so that it has time to heal before it goes into flower . I personally wouldn't top an auto simply because you can never tell when flowering is going to start as it vary's from strain to strain if I had been working with a strain for a while and got to learn it then I would do it because I would have better knowledge on the timings of the plant and so on . It is possible and worth it. It must be done above the 4th node removing the 5th pair of leaves; any later and flowering will begin. I have a diary where I FIMed an auto, a sweet skunk, if you care or want to take a look.

Remove leaves from auto?Should I remove fan leaves from my auto flower? I wonder since it is so crowded, I worry a bit that the leaves are pressing against the buds. But maybe that isn't a problem? I've read that removing leaves is unnecessary and stressful for the plant.
