I would leave all leaves that aren't blocking lower bud sites and defoliate as little as possible as long as you have proper ventilation in your tent. You should see one last week of stretch if not any at all this week. Usually your plants will stretch the most in the first 3-4 weeks of flower. 10 inches should be fine if like I said previously, you have a lot of air circulation and a good exhaust system. Watch closely for light burn or heat stress and if you need to you can slightly pull those branches of to an angle to give yourself more height space if you know what I mean. Don't pull to much as your stems are solid now therefore its easy to snap a branch off. As for flushing, it's best to get a microscope to verify you trichome heads and start flushing when 80% of your trichomes are milky therefore after a good 2-3 solid watering with runoff of 10-15% your buds will be primo.
