Trichlomen al amberkleurig aan het worden..

Desmo
Desmostarted grow question 4 years ago
Te laat mijn juweliers loep besteld, bij eerste controle bleek 1 van mijn planten al veel trichlomen amber kleurig te zijn. Is misschien al wat te laat of niet? Moet ik ze nog een week spoelen of direct oogsten?

As Nobody writes, it's not too late. Personally, I prefer mostly amber trichomes, since I smoke to get stoned.. People telling you "20 - 30% amber" have heard it from someone else, who's heard it from someone else, and so on. They've never actually done any experimentation to see what they like themselves. - If you like an "energic" high, you'll want mostly milky trichomes. But I highly recommend trying different percentages to see what you like the most yourself. It's also dependent on what strain you grow as well, as some strains give a more stoned high with less amber, while other strains require more amber for the stoner. There's a lot of variables to try out, so don't just listen to someone telling you what's best.. Again, as Nobody writes, as long as it's not dead or rotting, it's not too late. ^_^

if it's on the leaf no worries.. even if not.. you get to test a later point in the harvest window. Don't look at trichomes on the leaves or sugar leaves. calyx only As long as it isn't dead on the limb or rotting, it's not too late at all. Some will actually prefer it this way, maybe you too? Rinse is mostly anecdotal and not based in science. tests have shown mineral content of the buds is not higher than if you had flushed. Without causality, it is just magic. if worried a bit, give it water-only for an irrigation or 2 and see how it holds up... can always change course and chop it down. There are other rasons to flush the last poriton of flower that have nothign to do with faux-science. growdiaries.com/diaries/76015-wietzaadjes-nl-huismerk-grow-journal-by-desmo That diary? Make sure to inspect more than 1 location. Also, more than just the top colas to get an idea of % amber. 3rd pic looks to have more time remaining. If it is still packing on weight, you might be seeing trichomes that will later be covered up... the top layer is what the timing is based upon. e.g. i often see what looks to be "ripe" long before buds are looking like buds.. then they are mostly clear as the weight packs on further..
