What are these bugs?

I have no idea what the vdirst picture is, it's too difficult to see properly, the lower insect in the second picture is definitely a weevil of some type, some weevil larvae eat the roots of plants,(usually strawberries,and other herbaceous plants) I've never had a problem with them eating weed roots in pots before, maybe due to the fact that the vweed plants aren't in the pots long enough to be affected by the little critters, maybe something to keep an eye on

A couple ppl are saying earwigs? They don't have pinchers and I've now verified that they can fly. I've spotted a few up in the buds. I'm thinking they may be some sort of thrip? I've laid down DE and will keep a close eye on them.
