Looking at starting my first grow, I have a 120x120x200cm tent, and a 1000w LED light. What auto strains would you recommend for a complete beginner? Any tips in general would be great too. I'm hoping to have 8 plants, but generally quality is more important to me than quantity.
Solved
Setup. Strain - Autoflowering
Techniques. 12-12 from seeds

Hi I agree that 8 plants is way to many for such a small area autos still take around 12/14 weeks in total from seeds and its also dependent on the type of led light your using what is the pull watt of it has some cheaper versions aren't worth bothering with and if its not great you might struggle to flower them im new to autos myself but get in touch if need any help I send you my number in chat good luck and make sure that you have fans filters and Conditions are all good cos electric is expensive to have problems I pay between £7and £10 a day so not cheap hobby

8 plants in 120x120 is going to be packed as hell - if you are a total newbie and want an easy, steady grow I would recommend going for 4 plants to start with or it will quickly become pretty hard to manage your grow. I would personally recommend Quick One, Blueberry (and all Blueberry hybrids, they are usually called Blue Something or Somethingberry) and Do-Si-Dos. These are very resistant, easy to grow and grow pretty damn fast - and if you decide to follow my advice and go with 4 plants, you will not even need to LST them. Blueberry genetics usually have a pretty good plant/yield ratio with pleasant effects (flavour, aroma, appearance and power). My only tip for you: do not go too crazy on water. It's the biggest mistake you can make. In fact, it is healthier for your plants to get less water than to be overwatered! Best of luck buddy!

Other advice don't feed too much your plant because an underfeeding is more easy to correct than an overfeeding which is more difficult to solve. Then use nutrient 1 time on 2 and observe your plants everyday to check if they are OK. Good luck.
