Good luck! First grow is a very exciting time.
In a few days be careful to not over water your seed/sprout. They are easy to kill by over watering.

Lights on or off during germination?Just put my seeds straight into the soil for germination. Should I turn the light off during this step at all? Or does it even matter?. Why did my seedlings all die?My seedlings all died. This is the second time. What am I doing wrong? They germinate, I plant them in Promix HP soil, they pop up in a few days. I move them to the tent. Most of them never even lose their seed caps before they die, but a couple get real leaves first.

GerminationI was wondering how long do I keep waiting for seeds to germinate. Did I do something wrong I just put them straight into dirt and hp the water to 6.0 and I spray the pots daily and have them under the dome for moisture but now so far one sprouted in 8days.

Seed not emerging from soil :(Pre-germed a seed and placed it about 2cm deep into Canna Terra Professional Plus soil, approximately 12inchs below a 240W HPS light. Watering around 0.1 liters a day. Many of my attempts don't make it past seedling.What could be the problem? Done 3 grows now. Each time germinated several seeds. I can almost always get a tap root but when I plant, many never sprout and those that do sprout, half remain small and never grow past 2 little leaves. I'm always growing autos.
