Is this a deficiency? If so which deficiency? If not, what else could be causing this?

Any idea what could be causing this to happen to these leaves? The tips are becoming pretty brittle.

Caused by the leaf hitting the edge of the pot and rubbing, most likely at night when the leaves are lowered and the fan is blowing on them. Cheers, Organoman.

Thanks for the replies. You guys are 100% right, I think it was a bit of overfeeding (didn't know how nutrient packed my soil already is) and the fan hitting the pot. The spots are from thrips, but I'm in the process of sorting that out.

Looking at dark green and shiny leaves I am gonna go with nutrition burn. Usually tips turn brown and curl up and in as well.

Overfeeding. Also, those white blotchy areas kinda look like bug damage. Check under your leaves
