noticed the ph in the Pots is at 6.5+, something to do with the Hydroton. In order to balance it i had to drop the res PH to 4.0, but it constantly rises back up to 6. Using RO water
Suggestions appreciated, will the Hydroton eventually stop having the ability to raise my PH?Week 1

I used miracle grow organic potting mix for my first run but was told without the person knowing the brand it was trash just from the looks of it. Dont want to make that mistake again.

How do you wash your coco?I'd like to reuse my coco, so just wondering how some of you that use it wash yours in prep for another grow.

I brought in a bin of my vegetable garden soil from last season. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **

Rock wool cubesHi everyone this is my first grow and I’m not the most clued up lol. Any advice appreciated.

Mixing soils???I’m about to plant some autos and I’m short a bit of soil I was planning on using. I have some Kryptonight aprox 3gallon and a mix of fox farm happy frog/ocean Forrest.

Maintaining the soil pHI give pH'ed water, never more than 800ppm and I still always end up with lockouts. I used to not give water untill runoff but now I do. What to do after testing the runoff? ph problem in cocoHigh growmies, I grow in canna coco and checked my run off today and found 1 girl's ec was way to high so gave her a good flush with PH'd water 5.8.This did the trick and brought the ec back to where I want it but then checked ph and it went up with each flush any idea's ???Setup.
