Using advanced nutrients for first time! Is it correct that my dwc system has a white haze on the bottom and rim of the bucket? I can't imagine that this is intentional or? Using: Sensi grow a/b Rhino skin Bud candy Voodoo juice B52

Just like Sgnottino says, precipitate can be a factor here. But looking at the res I am seeing a lot of buildup on side and on the tubing of what is likely bacteria. Do you get significant upwards ph drift and does the res ever smell? I would clean that off next time you can do a complete res change. Then I would start adding a product like hydroguard or agricultural hydrogen peroxide 29%+ h2O2. This will keep bacteria at a minimum, if they are indeed a factor here. Happy growing!

Hi Mike515, I'm growing ph perfect micro veg bloom of adv nutrients. In the first 2 weeks even my rdwc were covered by a similar haze. I've solved washing the medium (clay pebbles in my case) and adding and mixing nutrients one by one to the solution. Uncorrect mixing can cause nutrients to precipitate in a solid/insoluble state (the white haze layer I guess). I'Hope to be useful, and have a good grow bro 💪
