Day 31: Top After a FIM-job?

Hydronaut
Hydronautstarted grow question 3 years ago
Could I top this FIM from a week ago? I have lateralized all her branches, but feel there is a lot of catching up to do. Branch spread is ideal for this grow space, but comparatively low. Am I really effecting yield, if I am satisficed with the growth in place and take the top?

Normally at this point in a grow I would say no, and use LST. Trying to even it out with the two shoot from that node to give your self another main cola. but your plant is massive, and looks like its doing very well. I Don't think that little nubbin going missing will do shit to your over all yields. Its a BEAST! Go for it. Pinch that little sucker off. Happy Growing!

Never pinch anything if you already invested time in growing it, there is drastic ways - SuperCroping, taking top leaves away from top cola, that slows her development and gives chances for others to catch up. Now you have huge space taken by plant, but this top will be a runner in general and will influence your canopy flatness and it won't bring you best light, distances will be a problem. Just tie her down, if she is too matured, use SuperCroping technique. Usually it's most tasty bud, would never chuck it away even if others would benefit a bit from it . Happy Growing !!!
