Dying plant / pale and twisting leaves in the middle of flowering (after heavy defoliation)

Hi guys. My Dark Phoenix is in deep shit! It's dying and I don't know why. The ppm is rising (around 1800 now), ph is stable at around 5.7, humidity is 35%. The leaves are looking overall pale and some of them are twisting. I defoliated it quite heavily. Please help!

With your PPM's that high and rising I would say you are over feeding her and what you are seeing is nutrient burn. You want your PPM's to stay stable. If they are rising then your feed is to high and you need to dilute your water. Looks like you recently lowered your humidity from 50% to 30%. When you do this you are causing the plant to transpire more which means she will drink more and by drinking more she is up taking more nutrients. PPM levels should be adjusted to take this into consideration. Plus the huge defoliation would also cause a need for less food as there are less leaves to grow. You said last week you were going to do a water change. Did you do this? when flowering its best to do a water change once a week. Happy growing

Thank you so much for your time and expertise! Hipefully the plant wont be fully dead by the time I'll get home after weekend and that I can still save it partially. @AsNoriu what kind of product would you suggest to revive my plant if it turns out that the roots are fucked? @cal917 the Temps are alright, they are around 12-18C. @chow13 thank you very much for your thoughts on the issues I ran into. I really didn't think of it that way nut now it makes a lot of sense in understanding ants in general! It's a shame that I gain this kind of knowledge only by fucking things up on this huge plant, but as some people say, it is what it is ;). @m0use I believe that I gained enough knowledge to reverse some of it, I'm just uncertain if I'll be able to rescue the plant partly after a few days of things going out of control when I get back. Before I went away I diluted the 70L res which had around 50L of water with 15L of fresh pH adjusted water only. It brought the ppm down to 1800 from 2200. A few days earlier it was running perfectly with 1200ppm up until I started defoliating like a mad scientist :P Again, thank you for your insight, you're the best, guys :) XOXO Cremo

Whats your temps? Looks like heat stress. Looks like you have a lot of light there.

A lot of good information here. From checking your roots for issues and foul smells and lowering your TDS in your solution to avoid shock and over feeding. I think you have all the info to reverse some of the damage that its going though now. Happy Growing!

When I say adjusted you want to lower the PPM when you lower the humidity so she is still eating the same amount of food but would be drinking more because she transpiring more.

if your ppm is now 1800, and before it was 1200, what changed that it increased that much? I'm not that skilled in hydro setup but I feel that TDS rating is too high. It also looks like it has to many nutrients to me. Are you using a feed chart? what are the recommended values of the nutrients you are using in terms of EC or PPM? Cheers
