m0useanswered grow question 3 years ago The photos of breeds cannabis strains are grown by professionals and manicured to look pretty.
I've grown strains that look something like what the breed had on their webpage.
It also depends who the breeder is.
If you using seeds from a source that does not have a good reputation, they seeds will not look like the package image.
I've seen this done before, places will use other companies images. and pass it off as their own.
I uploaded a photo to dinafems web page on a review. That image was later seen on a shady seed stores page. I asked them to remove it and they did.
A few other things that may cause them not to look like the plant you ordered is phernotypes.
each seed is a child to the mother and as such all have their own characteristics like kids in a family.
When a breeder locks in their genetics the range of phenotypes goes down, a more stable product is the result.
Not all breeders are equal and some downright suck. Most are not breeders and just resellers of bulk buys of seeds they contract out to breeders.
There is a large range of quality in that field of work from shit to great.
Other factors can also include your growing setup and environment, but they all tend to be something like the listed product.
I don't know where you got your seeds from as the diary says custom, but let us know and maybe that will help shed light on somethings.
End of the day though, if you like it, its a win.
No matter what.
Best of Luck and Happy Growing!
