Hello DWCpaqy, I do recommend to start the 600 hps from the moment that you notice the first signs from flowering. My DWC bucket got a drain and I can get the lid of without lifting the plant up, so if you can do the same you can just attach your LST ropes to the bucket. If not you can always place 4 cheap plastic 5kg dumbbells inside the tent and attache your LST ropes to these weights. Easiest material to use for LST in my opinion are soft wire and tie wraps. Enjoy your grow!

If you've got the led mate I'd use that, a 600w hps bulb will produce a shocking amount of heat. I was using the bulbs for years and swore by them, until a freak 2 week summer a few years ago made me change my mind. That light says it will do a 3x3 area, it will do both veg and flower. The hps bulb mate is for big full rooms, not tents really. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Bad idea?Will a mars hydro TS1000 be too strong for a 60x60x140cm tent? I have been using a TS600 and TS1000 in tandem in a tent 4x too big for the light level, I have been growing strong and tasty buds but with low yields so downsizing my tent size to maximise the light.

Light intensity My plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.
