So I'm getting a light in a couple days.. first real light I've ever had besides the little 15 dollar led bulbs. Which work great btw for young plants. Anyway I'm getting a 1000watt spiderlight. How far away from my plants should I try an keep it? Grow area is only 4x2.

Congrats....Butitsnot 1000 watts...... its 100..if you have the SP- 1000 But those 100 watts replace aHID of 1000 Watt... , Thats how the Name comes together.... The recommended Light for a4x2 is the SP-2000, I have the spiderfarmer SP-2000 in a 2x4 Tent ( 60 cmx120 cm and 2m hight) and i let the Light run on 100 Percent, The distance for my seedlings ( first 2 weeksis 90 cm...... And if they are bigger 75 cm. From then on i dontcahnge distance of the lights The SP-1000 is recommended up to 1 squaremeter coverage....... I just would look how they perform and looking to get another light for flower. For vegetation start on 75 cm ...... and let them like this... in flower look for another Light, ofr look how theyperform... very possible its enough Because those qunatumboard have ahigh quality DL I -Output Just pay attention with your seedlings, give them enough distance to the light

Yea i mean of anything I might have 1 that needs finishing up.. mabey 2 weeks under it.. later in the season... just a guess though.. but other than that.. i might get sum photos to blooming right before it warms up. Like I said. I don't plan on budding them the whole bud cycle. As for seedlings I'm loving my little 100watts.. or 15 watts really lol.. I've had some get full size under them and even did like I said. Started budding photos and took them out to finish..

You're alright if it's around 50-60 cm above the plants. Everyone got the Spiderlight these, it's really popular so we're both quite trendy these days ! fun times ! 🚀

And I already understand 2 would work better for my area.. or the 2k watt version. But really I don't plan on finishing most of what I'll grow under the light.. mostly its to lengthen my season.. and get my plants big before taking them out in the spring.
