When should I do subsequent tops to form mainline?

After 1st topping on mainline formation, how long should I wait to do next topping? Doing outdoor hot AZ grow. Been topping 3rd node as 4th begins forming. Am I too conservative? With 2 weeks between topping, concerned about running out of time.

The plant is looking nice!
If you are running out of time and want the plant to grow bigger i wouldn't top it anymore at all as that slows down growth for a few days.
At max i would top one more time but you will get a very bushy plant and will probably have to take off smaller lower branches that don't develop very well as they don't reach direct sunlight.

remove lower side branches that are stretching outwards to focus on main cola?some of the the lowest growth shoots started to stretch outwards (some stayed short).ideally I would prefer one nice long bud.should I remove them? (maybe 2 or 3 in total)or better to wait until 21 days flowering.

Is this normal growth for a mail-lined plant?I mainlined 8 colas on both plants. Each one has a small stem growing at the beginning of each cola. Is that normal growth for a main-line? I thought at this stage it would be just 8 long colas.

Did I wait too long to top?I just topped, main-lined, and defoliated. The stem is about the thickness of a pencil, and the nodes are very tightly packed.
The reason I waited so long to top was because I wanted to clone the cuttings and give them to a friend.

Should i stop main lining 3?So i'm a newbie and i snapped the stem on main lining.
I tapped but left it bent.
My reasoning is that i don't think i will be able to bend it if it grows more.
4 is bendy and i went even maybe too much on it.

Cutting off growth below node to be topped before topping dayI am mainlining the girl for an outdoor summer grow. I'm planning on topping next on the 3rd node after the 4th node is a bit more developed. After topping, I will remove nodes 1 & 2.
