Topping tips , help me !

I want to add: People cant really tell you on what node you should top, they dont know anything of your plan or strategy. The only thing they can tell you is dont do it before the 4th node cus thats just not right.

To use any technique, just ask yourself WHY you want to use it.. When that is clear you will find logic for the next step.. Just try to understand WHY and you will really learn instead of just copying someone. Ofc its good to have some direction like people here said already but you should experience and sometimes make a mistake to really learn and use a technique out of the box sometimes, combine 2 techniques and stuff.. Only use a technique if it sounds logical to your plan. MAKE A PLAN :D

For you: COUNT 7 nodes…cut anything above it and clone it. Less is more when it comes to nutrients.

It really depends on how healthy your plant is. I top as early as day 18-20 from seed. I also would not top an auto. My og kush diary, my critical mass diary, and now my Goldleaf are all early toppings.

Link this up to a diary, for heaven's sake... give us more info! Are you topping autos or photos? DON'T top autos... they'll never forgive you for it - LST is better for them. Photos can be topped when they have 3-4 nodes, not before. Beyond that.... Good luck
