Based on previous question should I just run one of the lights on 18/6 then? I have removed the dome and set the smart plug connected to the heat mat to come on only if the nest temp sensor in the box reads a temp below 65deg. Just trying to figure out the lights at this point.

If they are going outside, I would run the lights no more than 16/8, as this will be much closer to outdoor lighting times. I would also use both lights and have both spectrums switched on together to give them the best start in life. Remember, once they get sunlight, they will get every light spectrum there is out there!

You can keep your 2 x 75W on at 2 ft and don't move them until the plant grow enough and plant top is 1ft away, then you'll start moving the lamps upward as the plant grow to keep this 1ft distance between plant top and lamp bulbs. If you can't move your light up in your small seedling box may be it's preferable to keep only one on as you suggest. If you can move the lamps and seeldings in a taller box then keep the two. On a side note blue light spectrum isn't really ideal you should prefere some "cool white" for veg and "warm white" for flo. Best would remain to get a proper light spectrum with another lamp. Speaking of the light schedule, really it's up to you, don't bother too much and scratch your head and pick one 20/4 18/6 16/8 and it will be oki for veg. i personnally run 16/8 for automatic and photoperiod in veg as i sleep next to the tent and also to save on the electricity bill a little but most common schedule everyone use is 18/6. Hope that help. Happy growing

Agreed with @dissnoof, on this question. Download a phone app called photone, you can measure your light intensity, make note of the figures your plants like at various stages of growth to apply into future grows.

hey there SSC, yeah you can always bring the second light back into play around the 10 day mark. Just monitor for signs of too much light like short internode spacing , taco-ing, magnesium deficiency and adjust accordingly. Hope this helps ! šŸš€
