Milky trichomes?

Tropicalstorm
Tropicalstormstarted grow question 2 years ago
Hi! Are these milky trichomes? My plant just finished the 4th week of flowering and is supposed to take another 4 weeks, is it normal for them to be like that now? Thanks!

Probably but the trics you want to judge is on the bud itself and not on the leafs. The THC on the leafs will allways mature faster than the actualy budd.

hey there tropical storm, right now you're at 30x magnification, when you're at that magnification everything looks white/milky, but it turns out you need 50x magnification or even 40x (60 xis more comfortable) it will look quite different and you'll see the differences between clear, milky and amber directly

Looks magnificent! If the leaves have that many trichs on them, the buds are going to be out of this world! Just keep an eye on their colors and when about 30% of what you see is amber, you'll know it's time to harvest... you might want to start your flush about 1-2 weeks before you think they'll be ready (don't simply rely on what the "expected" harvest date is... those are just estimates!). Good luck!
