What is considered the correct time to top an auto flower when doing a SCROG. I have read that you should not, but I am seeing more success stories then failures.

Hi SaulGoodman2022,
I would advice you to NOT top(HST) autoflowers,but do some LTS(bending) instead.
But if you really know what you are doing you can top them like @Hashy said in week 2 or 3 depending on size plant.

Around week 2 week 3. When you have a few nodes coming out is probably the best time. Good luck

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? New nodes after topping very small, should I top more?I topped my plants a few days ago, but just the tips when the side nodes where just as little as a few mm.
