Will other smells effect in drying process?

Harvest is approaching quickly. I have a shed I can use as a dry room. Question is, there are a few residual smells from chemicals that used to be stored there like trace smell of chlorine, will this have an adverse effect on the quality? Many thanks in advance.

Yes. And the chlorine buds not only would taste and smell bad, they could absorb some of it and make it harmful to smoke or ingest in any way. Keep them far!

Yes, any weird smells will be absorbed by the drying cannabis.
Not sure chlorine buds would taste very nice......

Watering and darkness before harvestI've been giving them just water for 2 weeks but I only let them get about 10% runoff. I want to put them in 48hrs darkness but not if they've just been watered. How to dry for Keef collecting(after budwashing)?How long would you guys dry the bud for at an average of 61 degrees F and 54% humidity? Mind you I want to collect Keef in my Grinder and trim bin so I want it a little extra dry. The drying method is dry 5 days on single branches trim into individual nugs and dry about a week.

Why did the smell almost disappear?buds are drying and have been hanging for about 4 days. They still have awhile to go. But I noticed they have a hay/chlorophyll type smell and the bud smell is pretty much gone... will it come back during the curing or did I fuck up some how?

Drying - I've tried it all!Drying, I cut each stem, hang from net, no fans on just extraction on timer every 2 hours for 30 mins. Temps held solid between 18-19 degrees and minimal trim removed beforehand. I can still notice the smell fading and a hay like one taking over. Does anyone have any advice?Week 11

Drying seems too fast after chop (Growing and Drying in a Shed). 5 days too quick and how to slow it down?Thanks! My last 2 grows seem to dry too quickly.
I dry in a shed but rh and temps are decent- 70-75F & 50-60rh. Even tried letting 1 plant go 6 days instead of 5 before trimming and the jar never climbed over 54% after. Is this normal- should I & how could I slow the dry down?Week 4
