How can I mask the smell of fresh harvest for 4 hrs at a time without risking mold?

I did a wet trim, cut and hung my girls tonight. My landlord's realtor is showing my apartment 12-4 Thursday-Sunday. I'm going to put them in paper bags and put them in this bin under my bed for the 4 hours people come through and just burn incense. Will the buds be ok? Any tips?

If you can keep them cool or even cold then yes it be fine for 4 hrs. Agree with the rice or anything dry..a small bowl of bi carb soda(baking soda) also works really well for absorbing odors for a short time so just half a cup full of baking soda in the tub too with the rice and if you can keep it cool or even cold in that room (cold room will also make pple want to leave it faster) then you will be fine. Only half fill the paper bags so there is air in the bag..need air flow!! then put paper bags in the tub with the cup of soda and bowl of rice and you should be fine. Other options will require you to spend money.

Moving them out of the house and into your trunk is probably dependent on where you live... I couldn't do that here as it's 3-degrees F and the plants would all freeze! So, I'm not going to comment on that (but I agree, you need to get the plants out somewhere else if you can)... If you're also going to be trying to mask the smell, sauteeing onions and garlic is probably the best (pretend you're in the process of making a stew!)... those two scents will mask just about anything...

Unfortunately the best way to mask it is to take the plants somewhere else. If you can't do that then the next best option is to wipe all your counters down and mop with pine sol cleaner. It will mask it for a couple hours

I would put in trunk or a friend's car. It will be hard masking the smell. It's only 4 hours so should be ok. If its cold were you are then even better.

Paper bags great for wicking away mosture you will be fine but yes take the bag out of the house if you can

Put them in the trunk of your vehicle if you got one. No matter what you do, someone is bound to smell it if you keep it inside your apartment. Burning incense = what are they trying to hide?

Buy a cat litter box, take a couple dumps in it 😂 The buds should be fine in the paper bags for that time. I put mine in paper bags after I hang dry them. If the buds are dense and fat it’ll help pull some of the moisture from the inside nice and slow Happy growing 🤘🏼😎

For that short period of time they will be ok. Bake some bread or cookies to help mask the smell in the place. That's an old trick :) can also defuse some strong essential oils like lavender or patuli. Once they head out get them back up and drying as per normal. Its not a long time and it will be fine. Sucks for the drying but putting it somewhere colder and less humid will make it smell alot less for the time being but also probably dry it faster than you like 4 hrs might be short enough? Good luck man

@3lementa1 good idea using the paper bags they should be ok for that amount of time you can sit a small bowl of uncooked rice on top of the bags inside the tub it will help with moisture a bit as soon as coast is clear get them out and let the air out ASAP Good luck mate
