Chow_13answered grow question 3y ago It's called companion planting.bugs have plant preferences. Outdoors plant flowers, such as marigolds, calendula, sunflower, daisy, alyssum which will keep them away, but also plant dill basil and clantro which some bugs prefer to eat.
I cleared my buddies aphid infested plant by bringing over a planter full of dill. They all moved to the dill and we could soap spray the dill until they were under control.
