I have had that as well. It happens with any "live" potting soil that is moist. It is a good sign and does no harm. Go ahead and use the soil.

That's a fungus breaking down the soil into useable nuturents for plants.

Passive methods to increase humidityWant to increase the humidity in the tent slightly (10-20%)... it’s currently 35-45% depending how moist the media is. Does it matter that vapor from a humidifier is going directly to leaves?I got a humidifier which was outside the tent because of little space, the vapor was going high and then being sucked into the tent due to extraction fan running constantly.
So i had a brainwave and got a bottle, duct tape, positioned it so that it is pointing down. This Q ok?Setup. Other
