Light distance?

Hello...quick question from a novice grower....2nd grow Have 3 autos in a 4x2 tent...approx 3 weeks old and 8 inch high... How far should led lights be from top of plant..thankyou👍

Honestly, I keep my lights as far above my autos as I can... even when they're seedlings! It helps the plants stretch - but if they become leggy, you'll want to lower them. Normally, about 18-24" is good. Good luck!

Depends on what light you have. But most lights are set between 45-60cm for veg at around 65% and for flower you want a high a ppfd you can. So if you have a new led some you can grow with as low as 20cm with a high co2 environment but most lights for a normal set up will be in the 25-35cm window. Good luck.

Hans panel 180 use veg mode or not I've got a hans panel, it's got veg setting and flower. i had it all day on veg mode, seedling was stretching so i placed maybe 30cm from the lamp, but now leaves turned bit yellow. Would it be better to put it on flower mode and place the seedling further away?

Contemplating putting 2 plants outside. I have 8 in a 3x3 with Mars hydro tsw2000. It’s pretty tight in there. What do you guys think? Is 8 too many for the size and light? Or should I just leave them as is? I think the the pots are 3 possibly 5 gallon.

Can I switch my lighting schedule ?Hello everyone. 1st grow here. I'd like to swap my lighting (automatic plants) from [4am:midnight] to [4pm:noon] just to keep the temperature a little higher at night. Is it doable while not hurting the ladies or should I shift it an hour per day to change the cycle ? Thanks !

When to lower light intensity?When is the right time to lower light intensity? I'm on 5th week of flowering, should I keep my lights on max or reduce the power/increase the distance to plants? I have around 1000W of Led's at 35-60cm distance from the tops. I see no burning/bleaching or anything like that.
