hey. 5 week autoflower in dwc. i changed the rez for the first time and my white roots turned yellow. i never use beneficial bacteria before. so what do u think should i be worry? 3 days between this photos

All that is completely normal man. Nothing to worry about. I'm moving into DWC. And even the roots in my coco were white first when they grew thru my air pot and now they are like a rusty brown. Dif nutes, espically the dark coloured 1s will dye your roots. They looks really healthy you'd know if they weren't you would see massive signs of stress and all sorts of nute uptake issues. Just keep that in mind if she's healthy on top she's healthy below. Happy growing, good luck.

Most nutes have humic and fluvic acids in em, they will totally stain your roots and anything else it touches. As long as they are not dark brown or on their way to brown your fine. Tan or yellow happens, I have a bloom nute that makes my roots go blue. lols.

I noticed the same thing - when I first started doing DWC. I tried adding that great white which is indicated for hydro. It absolutely coated my roots in some shit that suffocated them and wilted the plants within 12-24 hours. I was so pissed. I had to pull each out and spray them down to knock the stuff off the roots. I no longer use anything but just a splash of hydroguard. I run as sterile as can be and it’s been great ever since.

If you ended up adding beneficials, they will absolutely dye your roots.

Root rot?Roots are brown but don't feel slimy and give off no odour. New root growth is virgin white. Could it be discoloration from the nutrient solution or is it the dreaded root rot? pH is constant 5.9-6.1...I added 5mL/gallon hydrogen peroxide to be safe

Root rot ?Could this be root rot ? My bucket temp sits between 19•C/ 66,2•F to 21•C / 70•F 12 liters of water ( About 3,2 gallons ) and 8liter air pump/min ( about 2,1 gallons ) using remo nutrients ( Micro, Grow, MagnifiCal, Velokelp and some Natures candy ) btw she’s 10 days old

Help with DWC Help. Need it for DWC. Why are my roots turning brown. They just look weak and not so strong. I can touch them and know they are not healthy. Running 4 buckets with 4inch airstones. I'm nowhere near an expert. Just still learning. I've done a DWC before,never problems .

Help with hydroponics Nutes are on week two. 74F rez. Adding 2ml/g h202. Did a rez clean/change and have 0 new root/plant growth for 8 days and have drooping and yellowing. 5.8ph. 1300gph air pump. 4.5in discs. 800gph recirculating pump. Brown on roots, no slime. Using flora plus (soy sauce colour)

Root rot or not?I can’t tell if this is normal discoloration or starting signs of root rot. Running Orca, Roots Excellurator silver, hydroguard and z7, res temps have drifted around 72-75f when my chiller was down for the first week, have since kept it at 68f. Would greatly appreciate some help.

Roots getting brown My Ph probe didn't work, PH was at least more than 0.30 (maybe 0.60) than displayed. As a result they had multiple chlorosis, now septoria leaf spots and possible Pythium since the roots are getting brown. What would you do to save the crop ? Adding mycorrhizae? Thx!

Root problem or not?I would like to know if this discolouration because of the clay pebbles sitting constantly in the DWC pool and colouring the roots or from nutrients or is this a root problem? There is no slimy thing or bad smell or stunt growth which can be detected.
