typically I like to remove leaves a few at a time, inside pointing leaves are removed first to allow for better airflow and light to penetrate the canopy. doing a few at a time does not stress out the plant like a full defoliation does. Remember less is more. and the more leaves you remove the slower the plant will grow. personally your plant looks good I wouldnt take any leaves off of it.

To a scientist, the first law of thermodynamics states, "you can't get something from nothing" and this is one of the single most foundational observations of the universe. According to this concept, the leaves capture light and convert it into sugar which is used as the chemical power source to build the body of the plant, so removing the leaves will remove the power to grow, and thus have a negative effect on plant growth.

You've cut what you've cut and I happen to think you did the right thing as she was pretty bushy. I agree with @XperencdGman in that I like to do my defoliation slowly and for a REASON (air flow/light to lower buds) - so you've ticked 2 of the 3 boxes. Let her be for now, she looks good. Good luck!

I don’t know what this guy is on about but making sure all the bud sites are exposed to direct light (and air) is actually one of the best ways to do that. For whatever reason, just like several other types of plant, partial (and thoughtful) defoliation increases the final size and mass of flowers. you should defoliate every couple weeks good luck

Can't stick em back on........ Why defoliate anyway?? Just remember,-- Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth.......... it really is that simple. If you plant would not have needed those leaves, it would not have grown them in the first place!
