7hrs message ban going on for at least 16hrs

Over a year later and it's still a problem? I barely come here, maybe post a question now and then and update each day with photos + comments for my own tracking. wtf???

in other news I was able to send one text though on the journal side of the page. growdiaries.com/journal/growing-cannabis-in-france-outdoors It said I was blocked but it published it, so who knows. Tried it on other journals and it did not work. Thought I would get a quick tag/mention out to buddy but no such luck. Maybe you can hit some users up by making a comment on one of the articles and hitting send. It did not allow me to edit it after I posted. was going to tag Growdiaries in 2nd message. Also they block you from messaging GD in chat. seems dumb when they are the support system. The contact us page still seems to work.

yeah i am having the same issue sometimes when i am replying someone and i have like a long thing to explain i have to send it in multiple messages and somewhere along the way it just says you are blocked for 7hrs. like 2 seconds after i sent a message cant send another one. dont know why its happening but i am still blocked and it spoils the experience.

well leaving it for a full 7hrs and coming back to it did not make it go away. :( still says I got a 7hr ban. Maybe all the times are stacking now, and every time I tried to post something it just added another 7 hrs. I bet I'm at like a half a week or something aorund 80+ hrs lol. Was also thinking that this is happening when your account logs into a new IP or device maybe? I was not affected by this at all before and now its hitting me, I logged into GD from a new device the one day Canada had the weird internet issues. Granted before it fully blocked me from texting. I got one last message out and it was regarding PH of soil in a DM. I tried to send a 2nd half of it and it kept lagging then when I hit refresh on the page it blocked me. another theory is the page kept trying to send the message and it was flagged as spam? idk its dumb. Growdiaries needs to fix it. I reached out to them.

did those steps now mouse and its still the same, 7hrs!

This ban is much like Covid-19, its spreading like wild fire again and no one is protected even if they all ready had the ban"covid" before lol.

I also have this glitch right now but it seems it does not apply to the "questions" side of the site. Few other things are different with "questions" like tagging using @ tags I was wondering when I would have gotten the ban. Hopefully it will be over soon. I think if you keep trying to chat or text it resets the 7hr timer??? I would not give GD to much credit for a functioning restriction that works efficiently give the other most resent experiences. Some people could clear the ban by resetting internet cache and cookies before.

dont know doesnt seem to be for a specific reason it just happens i cant message, i cant post comments i cant use the site except giving likes, posting questions and adding weeks to my diaries. frustrating when i got unreplied messages in my inbox.
