some stuff will just keep throwing pistils at end.. the older growth will have more degradation (continued*) if you wait longer... but you'll get fatter colas/yield... bud rot and other microbial risks become elevated too as it backs on thickness. pros and cons. my preference - ignore late/new pistil growth. i'm more concerned about consistency of the high. rather the bulk ripens in a tighter time frame.
