Hi growers! I flipped the lights to 12/12 about a week ago, when can I expect to see pistilils forming? Another week or so? Also, when should I introduce bloom feed? As soon as the pistils come? I’m using AN ph perfect micro grow bloom, should I maintain an equal amount of all?

Hey there Willy! So you should start to see signs of pistols in about a week or so like you said👍 As for the feed what I like to do is lower the veg nutes a little and add what I took away from the veg nutes with the bloom nutes make sense? The reason i like to do this is to keep some of the veg nutes in for the stretch where the plant will need a little more nitrogen than most Bloom nutes have. Then at about start of week 3 or once all the pre-buds have come in which ever comes first, I Get rid of the veg nutes and go straight bloom nutes. It seems to work very well Oh yea with the micro you can keep that in the schedule if you want👍 Happy Growing

It depends a little. Most of the time i start giving bloom nutrients after a week. But if the plants are a little to small for my liking, i will prob give them another week of vegetative nutrients to supply more N so they can stretch a little more. Mostly pistils will form between week 1 and 3 depending on genetics. Defo read the directions on your bottles about the amount you have to add to your water. Mostly start with half of the adviced amount and gradually move up.

Cutting branches 2 weeks into flowerI am not sure how much defoliation or even whole branches to take off... I have hundreds of tops, I’ve been leaving anything in the 10-12” canopy area but some are not cresting the top net... should I cut the branches off of the ones that didn’t make it past top net???
