Is it OK to use 1000 watt LEDs on seedlings and Young plants?? If so what height? I've added a couple of pics

It’s not 1000 watts 25 umols at 18” is terrible.. But just starting the first week is ok I suppose. I’m shooting for 100+ the first week of life

Hi Personally I would hang it quite hight when seedlings like 5-600 mm away And slowly lower it as it starts to gain height as you dont want it stretching too much, If it has a dimmer the obviously wack it down abit, if not start high and lower bit by bit 👍 Good luck bro 🌱 Other wise

The description of the wattage for this lamp is a bit misleading. I strongly assume that it doesn't actually have a 1000 watt output. I consider that nearly impossible. Take a look at the back of the lamp, on the nameplate for the input wattage. From there, you can assess how far the distance to the plants should be. Generally, I would try it with a 30 cm distance for this lamp. But without actual wattage, it's hard to estimate, especially since you generally have to approach it cautiously to find the optimal distance.
