Normally for mainlining it is quite drastic defoliation and removing a lot of growth points to only have the tips of the biggest branches.
It always depends on what you are trying to achieve, mainlining is great for only getting the main colas and eliminating all the popcorn buds.
It's difficult to give advice here, because some people like having main colas and a few more solid lowers and others only want main colas and that will determine how drastically you prune.
I would personally keep training it as wide as you can and then let the branches grow up, you may also need to transplant soon.
