Hi. Looking for advice here. Im going on vacation in 18 days for 2 weeks. Im just wondering if you think by looking at my grow, if i could harvest before i go? I have no one to maintain them while away. I was thinking of harvesting and them letting them slowly dry for the 2 week?

I would not give them a good watering before harvest, really hydrated buds at harvest are primed for bud rot in my experience. They look like they will be well and truly ready before you leave anyhow......... Hang them whole and don't trim before hanging.

I would give a heavy watering still just a day before chopping, it will maximise the water content in the plants at the time of chop and slow down the drying a little bit. Hang them right before you leave, I would do only minimal trimming before it and make sure the airflow is good and temperature in right range before leaving them so they don't dry too much and fast before you return, but leaving them to their own devices you want to be careful they don't create mold either. When you return, you should trim and jar them ASAP. It is well possible that your plants could've benefitted from an extra week or two, but it's definitely better to harvest in the early end of the window, rather than let them die on their own.

Leave it up to the trichomes, I say. If the trichomes are all cloudy, harvest. If they aren't, don't harvest. If it is done and you harvest, trim all the fan leaves and hang it in a temperature controlled room. 60°F & 60% relative humidity. If it isn't ready, there are ways to keep the pots wet. Like bottom watering and auto wicks. There are timers you can buy for lights and electronics to keep their current cycles going. Not sure how to keep water in a humidifier, or empty a dehumidifier, though. But, if you give it 3 more weeks, I'm pretty sure it will be done. I hope this helps. Happy harvesting!

2 days before holidays, or one day before - harvest them, but hang all plant for dry trim 14 days perfect window in most environments for full plant dry, they will be very frosty, give max time.
