Glass Jars, we use instant coffee. We keep them, the big ones hold half ounce easy. Fill jars half way. And when you open move your bud around. Leave lid of for a bit -30-60secs. pirex dishes I use + jars. Once it's air tight. Open twice a day for the 1st 10 days or so for a min or so. And as the weeks go on you can open it once a week.i cure my weed for 3 months. Usually by then I have it smoked. All my last harvest im going to take out of cure jars i open maybe once every week r even 2 at this stage. It also depends how you like your bud. If you dry in harsh conditions and have a hay earthy smell.. you might have to cure for 2 + months to get rid of that. As for RH..63% Is perfect for curing, 59% for drying and as close to 17c you can get, try keep under 21c when dryin . 2way RH packs you can get online to throw in your jars if you overdry your weed. They are cheap. Called Boveda packs. You can get them according to size of your cure jar.

Normally I would use a kilner jar. But I'd have a look at them groove bags next time I'm ready to cure.

Hmmm..idk about them bags. The whole fun of it. Is getting that smell. Just date your jars so you know when to burb. You'll know by the smell pal. Good luck.

Just saw the grove bag answer, they work very well as long as you can control the environment that they cure in. From my understanding the bags rely on ambient RH to properly cure. They just eliminate the need for “burping”.

To properly cure, the buds have to be completely dry and not bend. The ideal RH is between 55-65%. There are 2-way humidity packs you can buy that will help keep the RH in the “sweet spot”. The jars shouldn't be packed completely and should only be around 3/4 of the way full. Too full and you may risk mold and improper humidity control. Some people cure from 2 weeks to two months or even longer! I hope this helps answer your question and happy growing!

I haven't used them but I want to... I understand Grove Bags are the absolute best... just pop your buds in, seal it up and you're done - no burping, no worrying about humidity, no worrying about anything... https://store.grovebags.com/
