Anyone have a good VCURE recipe?

Same temp and rh you want when not using the vcure... except you can tightly control it much more easily. Nothing changes just because you have a better tool to use. you'll find all sorts of suggestions, so which is "best" is probably not well-proven at this stage. Cooler temps and ~60% RH will reduce evaporation of the stuff you care about, that much is most certainly true, but there is such a thing as going too far... drying too slowly... if you don't run into mold, slower is fine. At what point do you get limited returns for the effort and it becomes an e-peen? That doesn't seem to be well researched. i wouldn't do anything that results in longer than 12-14 day dry times... shouldn't run into any mold issues that way. Just a good guess.

The Cannatrol folks (who hold the patents for this tek in name, who do build-outs and renovations for commercial facilities and consulting as their primary revenue stream) are the ones who made this box. They are the ones who took basic mold prevention theory from the archival of books and antiques and curing of fine meats and cheeses and applied it to a first principles pass on everything post-harvest in cannabis. I say this not because the Cannatrol is the only option but because their experience and opinion here hold substantially more weight than most. So, every cut is gonna have a slightly different 'perfect' point and that is gonna be something you have to dial in. Otherwise, as long as you harvest clean flower into the machine and have basic SOPs around staying tidy, you can really drag the cure out. I usually do a hang dry in a dedicated space for 12-24 hours. This would be like your standard attempting to push 60/60 while turning over clean air. Then they go into the Cannatrol on a sloped target for 14 days. I haven't found too much benefit from pushing it past that 15 day total dry. I mean if you understand the dew point theory, you can hold your flower in stasis...including slowing the dry down to essentially nothing, just not in the very very beginning. The cure is really where the individual characteristics of your crop are going to matter. When did you harvest, how did you feed, is the flower clean in the first place, are you using ammonical nitrogen in flower, etc. I usually just do increments of 14 day cures. Glass jar after. I don't see any reason why a good harvest would ever need more than 2 of those. I mean maybe you want some fine aged wine or something. All these are standard RH/F or DP for the Cannatrol system. Not sure about your guy's factory settings but I they squarely had Cannatrol in their crosshairs. Did they use a compressor to get around the patent and take a hit on the trichome integrity that was fundamental to canntrol success or did they not read the cannatrol papers and presume they knew better and went with a compressor? One of those has the vcure rocking out of the box. One of those would require me to read the manual front to back.

I think 65 degrees 62 percent humidity is nearly perfect.
