*** doh, bulbs... you will need 4 of those to grow a small plant probably... might max out at 100g before it gets larfy on you? evenly spaced and unlike hat i described above, i wouldn't go too far outside the 1sq ft per bulb coverage. if you can return it, i'd suggest getting different options. bulbs and off brand junk on amazon doesn't typically do well or uses 33%-50% more watts to do same thing a slightly more expensive light will do and you'll save that difference in cost within 1-2 years of use and after that it is actually cheaper product to own and use ove time. e.g. good price on the mas 150w light right now for 110 USD, i believe? Someone recently asked about that light in a grow question and is in forefront of my mind, so there may be even better options. i see those bulbs go for 30/each give or take? so it's roughly the same price per watt and it's a far better option.

Heat stresses plants not light.

The only stress would be that there wouldn't be enough light... listen to Creepy_Steve... he's spot on....

stress? it *might be able to cover 1sq ft of decent growth. This assumes it's a high efficacy light around 2.6-2.9 umol/J. might cove 1.33sq ft if top end parts and running at spec sheet for best efficacy and heat dissipation etc etc... but shouldn't assume such things without looking into it of course. not familiar with teh spectrum lingo.. in general a warmer white with more red in it is better for bud development. if using seed to harvest, that's teh way you want to err in that respect. if you have 2 lights, a cooler ("blue") light will help axillary growth some minimal amount... i wouldn't spend extra for this sophistication, imho... small potatoes. but, a separate smaller vege light can be very useful and save watts.. tho prolly not getting smaller than 36w. i'd put one of those 36w led every 6-8" ... 8" if higher efficacy. then, keep plants directly under that frame of lights with no more then 3-6" portruding on either side (6" on axis that is perpendicular to what i assume are narrow strips).
