Hi Guys, I am about to start my second grow. Where I messed up on my first grow was on the drying. I did wet trim and I think my humidity was too low and within 3 days the flower had the hay smell and crunchy and dried out. I cured and burped but nice odor never came back.

Hai fertilizzato organico?

You just need to add a humidifier and try to maintain 55% to 65% rh and Temps around the same

Sometimes you can't control everything and drying happens faster than you wanted. So... add the moisture back. Put a hygrometer in each container for several hours so you know where you are starting. If the humidity is low you can moisten a small piece of paper towel and stick it to the bottom of the lid. I like to get the humidity between 58 and 62% for curing. You may notice that at first you have to re-wet the paper towel a time or two until you get the humidity up into range. Once it's there it doesn't take much to hold it and is a good time to consider humidity packs like Boveda.

So long as you keep your temps below 18 you will preserve those volatile terpenes. RH is more speed at witch is dries. Howerv it CAN affect it by " over drying" just keep an eye on them and you'll get some great bud;)

Suerte.

Let them dry between 15c and 16c and 60% RH, lots of airflow but never directly on a plant even turn your fans to the wall, they should take up to 14 days or maybe a bit more depending on how much your brake them down off the main plant...Good luck how the next run works out for ya

I've had this from my summer grow. Too low OF Rh And temps that go above 17c can cause this. Try not let your RH/temp leave these ranges. And if you have grows going. Tru get them dried in next few months. Or arrange for some AC to run in a dark room for a few hrs.. So, RH THE IDEAL IS 59: but between 55-60 you'll get away with it. At the max 18c. No direct sunlight. And if using synthetic nutrients make sure to flush that shit good. There's different harvest methods also.. You can dry the plant in its sub for a bit then pull out when soil is dryish and bag and hang upside down whole. (Do a night. As if you leave with roots on your get your going again. Also don't wash soil off roots. This was the only way I could dry my other plants later in summer without getting that hay smell. I kept the RH little higher as the tenp was like 22c at times. Before leafs curl into bud if the leaf-calyx ratio is high. She'll be a nightmare to trim. Also if you over dry dry some 2 way RH packs jars half full and it should bring some of that away. But took a 3 month cure to get rid of my plants chopped early and dried wrong. As soon as they dry they stink of hay within 4 days the weed smell does be gone. But again, Mine came back with boveda packs 63%Rh and took them out after a few weeks after I could feel tur dif and a long cure got rid. Hope you get a better dry this time.

Hi there Have a look on YouTube there a lots of very good videos that can teach you alot, and its much easier to watch a video, You might what to get a small hygrometer and monitor the humidity within the jars and some Boost humidity regulator bags when curing it helps out alot .. Best of luck 🌱
