In a word, no. They certainly can't be cloned - but some people DO have luck topping them... but that's all it is is LUCK... autoflowers don't like high stress and topping certainly qualifies as that. Where they had luck is in the fact they had a strain that vegged for a longer-than-normal period and the plant was able to recover from the topping... but there's no guarantee how long any strain is going to veg.... Good luck - but stick to LST for autos!

Cloning has been done, if you got a big veg plant (early on and not fast flowering) it can be used for a space saving SOG with the draw of a slightly reduced yield.( Will just continue to mature won't be as big but will grow. For carrying forward genetics tho. That's a no.

Topping is only best served in perfect conditions and knowing the plant you are working with, autos with a longer veg time can be great for topping (had an amnesia haze that I topped and stripped) she produced two massive tops. HOWEVER, I have had early flower due to topping (GG auto). It CAN be done however never on your first go get to know the beans get out of there way and let them do there thing. You'll get the hang of it. Gl hope this helps!

No cloning since autos are breed to flower based on number of days and the clone wouldn’t have enough time develop. I’ve topped an Auto in the past and it severely limited my total yield when compared to other plants of the same strain in the same grow. Again, time is of essence with Autos. Just my experience -Good luck and Happy Growing

No. They say you shouldn't A big 11-18L pot. I've topped autos and had really good results.. but on the other hand. Not so good. Depends how long the veg will be. Can that can't be predicted. So, no, until you get things underway. And lay of the land. Id 100% say no to both. Defo not cloning.
