Let your soil dry out more Top dress your pots with perlite BTI to kill larvae Sticky traps for flies Should sort it out pretty quick that way. Good luck

Creepy_Steve is spot on... I used Mosquito Bits when I had that problem (soaked the granules in water as directed then watered my plant with it removing the granules first) ... gnats were gone in one application... it will kill not only the adults but the larvae and eggs as well. Fungus gnats like to live in very moist soil so if you've got a problem with them, it suggests you're keeping your soil too wet... let it dry out completely between waterings/feedings. Good luck...

Steve’s got my vote. BTI is the best answer for fungus gnats that I’ve used

Gottagrowsometimes you know what happens when you boil or bake your soil? You kill everything that is good as well, might as well be growing mushrooms in pressure cooked substrate....

I would agree with all the Hokey Pokey that gottagrowsometimes says but then we'd both be wrong...If you want a sure fire way to get kill the knats go on Amazon and buy predator mites Nema Globe 817504004249 Pot Popper 4 X 1 Million Beneficial Nematodes (S.Feltiae) https://a.co/d/bFqpyqJ It will be there in 3 days if ya have amazon prime or a week if not and get keep using the sticky tape follow the instructions on the nematodes and your issue will be taken care off by mother nature as it should be This is what most big hobby growers use and they work You also have to lower the RH but make sure you adjust the temp they really don't like cooler temps and lower humidity I'd have to look up the range but just Google it and it will tell ya.... Best of luck by the nematodes

Depending where you live. Gnsts can't be an issue. Or where you get your soil. Mainly it comes from inert larva that lay dormant already in your sub., and you've no way of knowing. So you must treat 100-200L of sub by either baking your soil, (methods on line, or boil treat your soil with hot water, or a hot bath/shower water. Which all takes time. And then, you might still end up getting them especially if you live in a humid country were they thrive all Yr round. So, it's not anyones fault. It's not as though they ring the doorbell and you invite them to snack on your fungi or lay eggs in your soil.

Simple thing to do is stop bringing gnats into your grow space. That's the only reason you have them. GnatPower!

There's many things you can do. Sticky traps are great. But you need to treat the soil and the flies at the same time. Or else you are going to be stuck in a loop of fliers-larva, fliers-larva. I've just had an load of them applied what I did last time. I've a diary up on how to deal with them. How you can treat and try many dif methods with what's on hand. Cinnamon H202 Apple cider vinegar Ethanol Drying out soil.... then when top is dried out and you'll be bottom feeding for water for a few days. You need to either treat your dry soil with DE..or spray it with a mix of eth or h202/water mix 50-50. Or dry out. And scoup out a few cm inch-2 of the dried soil. But, id recommended then you treat for any larva that'll slip thru cracks. Feeding from the bottom will keep your plants going while you treat and get rid of larva on top. Good growing.

mosquito bits (top dress) or mosquito dunks (dissolve slowly in reservoir) will kill the larva.. will take 2-3 weeks to fully be controlled. May still see "1" flying around occasionally. Yellow sticky traps are good to kill from other end of life cycle at same time and will hasten the reduction. Bti is the active ingredient if that brand is not available in your region ... i will spell it wrong but it'll be impossible not to recognize it -- Bacillus thurigenesis (israelis sub species). Anything with that whould kill the larva in a very effective manner. You can even use it pre-emptively --- if you buy substrate that is stored outside, i'd use it from the time they sprout until end of harves... Bits can be applied every 21 days, but in your case i'd re-apply every 14 days until it is well-controlled... after that can go to the 3-week application to save some money. that's enough to maintain, but since you have an existing problem, may wanna gas it until under control.
